Cinema 4D and After Effects – Broadcast Trailer: Now, Next, Later Tutorial

[Instructor] Andy Needham
[Level] Intermediate

This tutorial will show you how to create a broadcast trailer for a fictional TV schedule using Cinema 4D and After Effects.

Final Preview:

Part 1: Cinema 4D

We’ll be using various modeling techniques, the MoGraph module and looking at how the clones are affected by forces and dynamics. We’ll use CSTools MoCam to create our camera move and light our scene with the GSG Light Kit Pro.

Part 2: After Effects

We’ll be taking the passes we rendered from Cinema 4D and composite them in After Effects. We’ll add the show titles and animate them and add color correction and depth of field to complete the spot.
