Rockstar Games has released the first trailer of Max Payne 3, nearly eight years since the release of Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.

Max Payne 3 takes place about a decade after the previous game. Former NYPD detective Max Payne has decided to leave the country and start over. He ends up working a private security gig in São Paulo, Brazil. The family he’s protecting is soon targeted by gangs, though, and it’s up to him to save them.
